Game Related Practice
Organization:
Each team keeps an attacking player (forward) in the attacking half. Waves of 2 red players come into the field to create a 3v2 against the blues in the attacking half. As the blue team wins the ball or goalkeeper makes a save, the blues look to immediatey counter and get into their attacking half as quickly as possible to create a 3v2 against the reds. Once the 2 attacking players either lose the ball or get a shot on goal, they rotate back to the beginning of their line. Games are played first to 5 goals wins and then change the forward player on each team.

Blues on the weakside immediatey sprint forward once the ball is flicked in behind to get in the box for the cross.
Coaching Points:

Warm Up
Organization:
2 15x15 grids set up next to each other with an 8 yard zone in between. 5v2 in each grid. 2 touch for the red players in possession. If the blue get a touch or force a pass out of play, they switch out with the red player who made the mistake. Reds look to make 5 passes in their grid before transferring the ball to the grid on the opposite side. One player from the reds can check into the zone to receive the pass but only has 1 touch so there must be support to receive and play the final pass into the next grid.
Coaching Points:
quality of pass, patience in possession while looking forward, speed of play, timing of movement, support underneath to continue playing forward
