Organization: - half field or similar size
- 6v6 or similar
- counter endzone + 3 counter goals
- 3 areas - left/center/right - each about 30x20
- attacking #6,7,8,9,10,11
- defending #1,2,3,4,5,6
Instructions: - defending team to counter goals and endzone (endzone dribble = 1, endzone pass = 2, goal from outside endzone = 3)
- attacking team to big goal no restrictions
- when ball is one of the 3 areas, min 3 defending players need to be in that area pressing
Coaching Points: - some cues to press - bad touch, head down, receive ball facing own goal
- 4/5 stay together - no space between
- 6 stays central - don't get pulled out
- 2/3 shift central when ball is on opposite side - stay connected to 4/5
Progression: - add defending 8/10 if numbers allow
- add reset attacking 4/5 in counter endzone if numbers allow
Regression: - make field narrower - smaller pressing areas for easier defending
- add defending line of confrontation
