This is a One-hour game-based session plan. The session aims to set up opportunities for players to use dribbling skills to beat a defender. This individual focus session allows the player to be excited with the ball and try new things.
The session starts with an arrival activity, so the players can get going while waiting for other players and coaches to set up the session. The session includes:
• A physical literacy warm-up.
•1v1activity.
•A final game based on the session theme.
1v1s allows players to decide when, where, how, and why to use a dribbling skill.

Arrival Activity (5-10 Minutes)
A minimum of 2 players is needed to get going. As players arrive, they put down their water bottle, coaches provide them a pinnie, and they start playing. As other players arrive, increase the game to 2v2s, 3v3s. Overloads 3v2 are ok. In the beginning, place two nets down for the game field. As the players are playing, walk around to complete the area set up with cones.
Setup
1 x 25/35yrds field and 2 nets on each end. It is ok to start with a smaller field and make it bigger as the players arrive.

Change the direction after a couple reps.

If a players ball leaves the field they join the middle player in trying to steal soccer balls. Once all players reach the opposite end reset the game, and continue until there is one player left with a ball.
If the middles players steal a ball and dribble it to the end zone, they switch spots with the player they stole the ball from.
