Description :
> full half of 4v4 field.
> 1v1 with 1 ball.
> no goals.
> Coach will stand on outside of field in a central position with all the soccer balls at their feet. Ready to throw 1 ball onto the field for the Players to play with.
> Players will stand in their teams on either side of the Coach waiting for the ball to be rolled onto the field which indicates the start of the game.
> Objective of game is for Player in possession of the ball to protect it from their defender. The game will last 10 seconds - whichever Player has the ball when time runs out will gain a point.
> Player must dribble ball around the field looking to stay inside the field & not allow other player to steal it back. IF ball leaves then game is finished & new game starts.
> Feel free to add in an extra point for every time Player steals the ball. This means 2 points may be up for grabs if successfully steal ball back & protect it.
> use -1 point system. Again, we are allowing the Players to constantly think about keeping the ball on the field as long as possible.
Coaching Points :
1) Look to get body in between defender & ball.
2) Check shoulder to see where defender is & space we can dribble into.
3) Weight of touch when dribbling away - keep close to body & make harder for defender.

Description :
> full half of 4v4 field.
> 1v1 with 1 ball.
> 4 goals placed in each corner of the field.
> Same setup as Activity 1 but now we add in 4 goals that Player can score into.
> Like before, if Player protects ball for 10 seconds & does not score a goal = 1 point.
> If Player protects the ball & scores a goal within the 10 seconds = 2 points.
> If Player steals the ball & scores a goal within the 10 seconds = 2 points.
> use -1 point system. Again, we are allowing the Players to constantly think about keeping the ball on the field as long as possible.

Description :
> full half of 4v4 field.
> 2v2, 3v3 or 4v4 depending on numbers.
> 2 goals in central areas of outside line.
> Allow the Players to play the first few minutes without coaching too much. This will let you see if any Player are putting into practice what they learned throughout the session.
> Speak to Players about what was the main focus of practice & why we need to add it into our game?
> Look to add in chance of extra points : Shoot into Goal = 1 point. Dribble into Goal = 2 points. ( this will also encourage Players to run with the ball to gain points more & more )

Description :
> full half of 4v4 field.
> 1v1, 2v2 or 3v3 depending on numbers.
> 1 ball per game.
> 4 goals placed in each corner of the field.
> Coach will stand on outside of field in a central position with all the soccer balls at their feet. Ready to throw 1 ball onto the field for the Players to play with.
> Players will stand in their teams on either side of the Coach waiting for the ball to be rolled onto the field which indicates the start of the game.
> Objective of the game is for team to score into opposition goal to gain a point. IF game lasts too long then Coach can shout " GET OUTTA HERE " which means Players on field must leave immediately & another group of Players will enter the field with a new ball thrown into the game. ( aim for the game to last no longer than 15 seconds )
> Fun warm up game to allow the Players to get touches on the ball & moving around the field straight away.
> Ask Players what we focused on at practice in the previous weeks? Can we use these in our warm up game to see if we have learned anything?
> Use -1 point system in warm up game if Player dribbles out the field. Why? This will allow the Players to think about the previous sessions & how they can keep the ball in play.
