⚽Practice Organization

  • Anaerobic capacity exercise for 2 players Krishna and Adnan
  • Anaerobic ball drive with High intensity and ball driving technique

⚽Key Coaching Points

  • Players start one by one and execute the specific movement with the ball as demonstrated above
  • To elaborate more in every try, players  must initiate their try from the middle red stick
  • They have to choose they side they want to move, they choice dictates their ''prospective driving route''
  • Accordingly and by maintaining their ball driving speed, they have to make sharp cut from the inside of the blue sticks
  • After they complete 2 successful cuts, players head to the middle blue stick
  • Now it is vital to make inner cut always in relation with the direction they came from(internal change of direction
  • We strictly highlight this detail/hint to the players
  • Eventually after the inner cut each player has to drive the ball as quickly as possible until the height of the stick(red) positioned Infront
  • By the end of the try players drive the ball slowly towards the offset of the exercise pattern(20'' seconds maximum rest)
  • Players have to be careful to execute each try in the same direction each time/we avoid collisions or performance hindering
  • Players have to execute 10 repetitions/5 each side apparently
  • It is recommended to execute the repetitions in a contralateral manners, in the favor of side load control
  • If players get tired, we praise them and we add extra 15'' seconds rest
  • At the end of this extremely demanding exercise, it is recommended to provide at least 3:30-5:00 minutes rest pre the upcoming exercise
