10 mins
Organization:
*Players in 6yx 6y boxes and also in a channel of 15-20 yards (change length based on ability)
*Players start by sharing the ball with teammate opposite them
Description:
*As progression, change passing style (inside, outside, driven)
*Opposing player must control the ball and pass within 2 touches
*Add competition, encourage a game between each pair to pass and force a mistake from partner.
*Pass must enter through the face of the box not higher than waist
*90sec games, players keep track of points - create a top field and bottom field (winners move up, losers move down)
*Encourage driven ball
Objective is to make a pass as powerful as possible. Receiving player focusing on trapping the ball closely.

15 mins
Organization:
*2 servers start on cones 10-15yards off top of penalty area
*2 target players with back facing goal
*2 wide players to whip the ball in
*use cones to mark a back line
Description:
*activity starts with player 1 playing a through ball for first CF after checking off shoulder of defender + go to goal before red line
*2nd server plays a ball to feet, CF half turns/spins the defender with 1st touch & finishes on 2nd touch
*Ball comes back to the first server who plays a driven ball to T-junction for winger to cross to front or back post (change this up, and vary the runs in, front post, back post, etc.) for a finish
*2nd server does the same on the opposite side
Make it a competition! Give them a time limit to score as many as they can, beat it next time or compete against team on other half.

15 mins
Organization:
*use mannequins or cones as defenders
*2 players serving
*2 players alternating shooting on goal
Description:
*Servers play a driven ball into players
*first touch to open up around defender & create an angle to go to goal
*finish on goal after setting with 1st touch
*1st touch doesn't always have to open up inside, can take touch past defender on outside and finish with opposite foot
Play timed rounds & make it competition. split into 2 teams, count number of goals (if no GK, place cone next to post to create a gate into the corners)
Coaching points:
- server to have ball travel quickly but arrive slow
- texture on pass
- details on pass (what foot, angle etc.)

15 mins
Organization:
*3 cones mark starting points for players
*Use mannequins for back 4 if available
Description:
*play starts with CM delivering a driven pass out to the RW
*RW looks to open up with first touch down the wing & delivering a ball behind the opposition back line
*CF works on different movements to break between defenders and finish on goal
*players rotate through positions & include left footed cross/delivery as well
Coaching points:
- quality of driven pass: weight, accuracy, texture (back spin to arrive slow into feet)
- Angle of body to receive
- Movement / positioning to deceive defender (shoulder of defender, check towards ball & spin away to receive in space)
- Variations of run from CF: straight through CB, looping run along back line & behind, front post to back post, back post to front
- timing of run - arriving too early vs too late
- 1st time finish - body weight over ball, strike through middle of ball, continue momentum & steps after striking ball (take 3-5 steps after striking ball)
- Type of finish: inside of the foot vs outside vs laces

5 mins
Organization:
*Split players into two teams
*Choose a distance for players to strike the ball towards their net (just in front of half, between 2 pillars)
*Ensure players are maintaining 3m distance
Description:
*Each team tries to strike the ball and hit the crossbar
*Players on each team alternate, but both teams can shoot at same time
*First to 5 crossbars wins!
If players are struggling with this, add in the ability to hit the posts (must be in air, can only bounce once, etc. based on ability)
Focus on coaching points to help play a lofted ball:
- contact point is underneath the ball with that second knuckle
- Leaning back to help get underneath the ball
- Angle of approach - can't be straight behind ball, don't want to be at an extreme angle either (allow foot to get underneath ball with more of an angle)
- Not about how hard or fast you swing your foot - about the striking technique!
