The objective of this session is to improve the technique on dribbling and running with the ball. This session is set into four phase, Warm - Up (Technical) unopposed, follow with a TECHNICAL PHASE (UNOPPOSED) for better repetition, and polish the technical aspect on dribbling, SKILL phase, (OPPOSED), ending with a GAME (RESTRITION/UNRESTRITION. Also break down all the mechanical mechanisms on dribbling, for a better player development so he/she can be proficient at this skill. Hopefully player will engage Physically, Phycological, Social and technical, yet clear understand of the where, when, how, and why are we performing this technical session.

TECHNICAL PHASE - UNOPPOSED - 20 MIN
ORGANIZATION

FUNCTIONAL DETAILS
Upon coach command one player from each zone will dribble the ball towards the mannequin, perform a dribble technique to pass by the mannequin and accelerate to the final third by dribbling into the gates, as they crossed the gate, they will now dribble towards the next gate to initiate another turn. They will switch sides to perform the technique on both foot. Each player will have heir own soccer ball
COACHING POINTS
BREAKING DOWN THE MECHANICS OF DRIBBLING
1 - Keep the ball near to tour feet
2 - Vary the surface of your foot (inside, outside, bottom)
3 - Keep the head up
4 - Pace
5 - Change the direction

SKILL PRACTICE PHASE - (OPPOSED) 20 MIN
ORGANIZATION
The same as the previous one
FUNCTIONAL DETAILS
add two mini goals, or Pug goals at one end. At the opposite end create three gates and and a neutral zone(Final third) 3 yards away from the end zone.
Play will start with the BLUE team driving the ball with the attempt to dribble the defender, drive trough the gates and stop the ball at the red zone, If the defender regain possession, they can attack to any of the two mini goals.
Team :Points = 2 points for defenders if they regain possession and score
1 point for the attackers to dribble trough the gates
They will be playing 3 blocks of 3 min than switch the roles.
REGRETION
defender can press only after the attacker perform the first touch

Color cones, color vests, soccer balls, mannequins or poles, minimum 10 players, or upon number available

As the command a player A(attacker) will leave his gate, and try to drop the color vest beyond the three gates near the defensive line, and drop it at the neutral zone (final third). The defender (Player B) will try to tag him/her, if so the defender gets 2points
COACHING POINTS
- affect the defender by run at him/her, due to the fact that the gates are near the defender, so neg the defender with your language (fainting) one direction and drive o another direction to penetrate the final third.
- Eye contact, read the trigger at the defender body language
- Be creative, spin, change directions, drop shoulders
