Defender plays ball out, attacking players create a 2v1, defender tries to force in one direction to allow GK to cut down angles, etc.

2 v 2 to goal with chasing defender

defender can leave at the moment of the pass. second defender comes from opposite side.
rotate every few minutes to limit players running to next place and decreasing reps.

1vs.1 technique, closing down oncoming attacker
Coaching Points:
-play on the imaginary line straight from the ball to the middle of the goal
-close the attacker at the same speed in which they are traveling
-hands in front
- stay on feet as long as possible
-get lower to the ground as you get closer to the attacker
-stay big, get hit
Technical Objectives:
-making saves with all areas of your body
Tactical Objectives:
-make the area of the goal they can shoot at as small as possible.
-intercept attacker as far from goal as possible
Physical Objectives:
-quick, controlled movements
-stay on your feet as long as possible

-starting position appropriate to distance of the ball from the goal
- body on half turn to be prepared to move quickly at moment of pass, to the ball or to the goal

-Decide immediately if you can cut out the pass or need to prepare your body for a 1vs. 1 or a shot
