Organization:
-10-12 players
-Area: full quarter field
-big goal, supply of balls, 4 cones
Set-Up:
-Player touches the ball to the coach and makes the run towards the triangle (cones). He steps on the furthest cone and turns.
-Ball will be played to him and player has two touches, one to get the ball sideways through one of the sides, and second one is the shot
-Player must play the setup touch between the cones in order to get earn the shot
Coaching Points:
-Speed - timing and pace of the run, change of pace and direction
-Control - first touch decision, part of the foot, body position
-Shooting/finishing - part of the foot / ball, accuracy before power, follow through

Set Up
Work in the 18 yard box area with 3 mannequins shown around 20 yards from goal
Organization
Ball starts with A who plays back to B. B then plays a through ball for C to run onto for a shot. B stays where he is. Next ball starts with D and mirrors on the opposite side.
Progressions
Change up sequence - ABC through ball for B to shoot.
Add in a realistic defenders. Players must now decide whether to pass or to dribble and shoot themselves.
Coaching Points
Strike with laces for power, pass the ball into net for finesse, across the goalkeeper, plant foot alongside the ball, follow through

Set-up:
Arrange players into 3 groups 0f 3-4 players.
All balls start with all players from the 3 groups
1. P1 performs a 1v1 move and then strikes thru the center of the ball.
2. As soon as P1 shoots P2 plays a player combination (1-2) with P1 and P2 shoots.
3. As soon as P2 shoots P3 gets down the line on the dribble and delivers a cross. Both P1 & P2 make near post and far post runs and look to finish.
- After 5-6 minutes rotate the players
Coaching Points:
Shooting Technique - Dont have to kill the ball, find the middle of the ball, awareness of GK, head down to strike, hips lined up to target, Knee over the ball,
Crossing - First touch into flank space on diagonal, Square up to ball to strike(get around the ball), Head down/eye on the ball, Pace/Weight of cross, Follow through,
Movement - trigger for the 2 players to time thier runs is when winger picks up head, Cross runs, If players are into early need to recycle and belly out their runs, Aggressive movement int the box, Attitude/Accuracy in finishing, If cross is deep towards back post the near post player has to drop into to support ball for layoff.

Organization
Player 1 starts as the attacker, player 2 the defender. The attacker must take on the defender and get outside the box. If successful and exit the box on the right, they shoot on the goal to their left. If exiting to the left they shoot to the right. The defender must stay in the box.
Progressions
- The defender is allowed to leave the box and pressure the shot but must exit through the gate
- Add additional attackers to make a 2v1

Positive dribbling to take on the defender
Move/skill and accelerate away
If time, take a prep touch before shooting
Shoot for power and accuracy
