Session Organisation: (Positioning Exercise) - 8:00-8:10pm
12 players - 11 defenders (incl GK) + corner taker
Defending Corners (defenders in orange, attackers in yellow)
Game - defenders score in mini goals, attackers in main goal.
1. Hybrid Defence
- 4 zones on 6 yard box (about a pace inside 6 yard box)
- 4 markers (M) in box picking up players
- 2 edge (E) on edge of box picking up players
nb: all 6 (M+E) are markers and follow attackers wherever they go
2. Defending short corner
- FZ & Closest E go out for 2v2
3. Attacking corners (front 6 players)
4. Coaching Points
- Zonal players hold & attack zones
- Markers follow players anywhere (identify markers who ball watch and lose sight of their player)
- Aim clearance for mini goals(play until goal in mini or big goal)
- Leave zones once cleared

Game - attackers score in main goals, defenders in mini goal.
1. Attack Zones (5 players + corner taker)
- 4 zones 1,2,3,4 to run to
- 1 x Edge player
- 1 X Deep player (2 or 5 opposite from side corner taken) coming from back looking for ball going through everyone
2. All other players defend (can they remember how to zonal defend)
Initially do with no defence, then introduce defence.

1. 11 v 11, coaching orange team (1st grade)
2. Rules
- when ball goes out over blue sidelines/goal line, a corner for yellow (U20) to take and orange (1st) to defend.
- when ball goes out over red sidelines/goal line, a corner for orange (1st) to take and yellow (U20) to defend.
