THE SESSION: Dribbe / Pass Drll
Divide the field into half longwise. Have 2 lines going at the sam time. Each player dribbles at speed and passes to the next waiting player. Pass through the gap. Stay in the line and return to your own line on the next run.
PROGRESSIONS:
Limit touches.
Add chasing defender.

The Session: RED V BLUE, must cross the line before passing ball into goal (as in diagram), as soon as pass/shot is released the next player can 'go'! the player who passes/shots must then defend the opposite goal. Change sides continuously.
Key Points: Transition defending, light switch moment to defend after 'losing' ball. type and angle of run to defend the goal
Progression: score in any goal, always defend the opposite side to where you started.

THE SESSION:Short, Short, Long. Sets of 3 cones with players at each. A plays to B, B plays back to A, A plays long to C. A switches with B after long pass, then C repeats the pattern back through the line.
PROGRESSIONS:One touch passing from the middle player. Make it a race; each team must complete the pattern until all players are back to their original spot in the line. Add a defender to upgrade the quality of passes and make 1 touch passes more realistic under pressure.
KEY MESSAGES/POINTS:Stress the importance of quality passes. Proper weight and accuracy to the receiving player. Basic passing techniques, toe up, ankle locked, push through the ball.
