Organization: Same grid, but now with four gates, two sets of players stand in each gate on one side, designate one team as the defenders and the other as the attackers (this case it is blue as the attackers and red as the defenders)
Instructions:
* Players cannot go until they have made eye contact, once that is locked in the attacker can go whenever they want but they moment they move the defender can go and tag them.
* If blue gets across the gate infront of them w/out getting tagged that is 1 point, if they can get across the gate infront of their opponents that is 2 points.
* Defenders are trying to tag the attackers
* Switch lines after you go, keep track of personal points
Coaching Points:
* Three ways to beat a defender:
1- Speed (sprint and beat them with pace)
2- Fake (Draw them in, use your body to fake changing direction then go the original way)
3- Change direction (Can we use multiple fakes to eventually change direction?)
* Why would we sprint? Fake? and Change direction?
-Depends on the defenders; positioning, speed, and ability
* Head up to determine what to do as you read the defender
* DO NOT HESITATE!
Progressions:
* Add a ball for the attacking line, players must dribble across, if defender wins it they try to dribble it back through their original gate.
COACHING POINTS:
* Can we look to see how fast our defender is going to determine if we can use speed or need a fake??
* Using correct surface of foot while dribbling to keep the ball close so if you need to fake or change direction you can.

P1
Each player has a ball and is introduced to a few different types of dribbling techniques/Turns:
Messi, Ronaldo, V-Turn, Sole Role, Dragback
Players will be asked how they might use each type, after they have been introduced:
-If you have a lot of space which technique might be the best?
-If you are in a very tight space how could you dribble?
P2
-Same space, V-Turn competition, Players have 45 seconds to impress me (make it a minute but tell them 45 seconds to see if they can do it quickly).
Coaching Points:
-Using the proper dribbling technique/surface of the foot
-Looking for/identifiying where the open space.
-Balance on the ball always on our toes
