For today's session we will work on the role and responsibilities of the 1st attacker. The main objective is to instill an attacking mindset as soon as the player is on the ball. Having a penetrating mindset will conduct inventive attacking play. The first attacker role is to penetrate with the ball with either dribbling, passing, or shooting. We will work on the 1st attacker's first touch as a natural instinct is to retain possession. Success in attack comes from understanding what possibilities a player can execute immediately when in possession the ball.

Restart Week 7: Defending Corner Kicks
Players will be guided on what positions to take up when defending a corner kick. Some players will mark a zone while others will be man-to man working
Principle of Play Week 7: Penetration
A first attackers first thought should be how to bring the ball forward or change the point of attack based on pressure. This also involves supporting the play after making a decision on the ball. The goal is to create confident attack minded players that can make decisions based on visual clues in front of them.
