Finishing to goal. Players with the ball dribble into the field and pass the ball to the player across field that is making an angle run towards the goal. The player receiving the ball takes shoot on goal. The oppsite side goes as the first palyer is shooting. Coaching Points:Take a good first touch towards the goal, shooting angle, non shooting foot placement, putting shoot on the goal, before shooting taking a look at the goalkeeper position.

Player with the ball dribbles and plays a ball to the player check at and angle to receive the ball. The player receiving the ball passes back to the player that plays the ball to finish to the goal. Repeat on the opposite side of the field.

Finishing from the flank. Player with the ball dribles and play a ball accross the field to the player running down the flank. Player with the ball goes toward the end line and takes a touch in and look up to the player making the bent run to the back post to finish. Coaching Points: Bending your run, not getting in to early, open your body up to receive the ball to finish

Game: 8 v 8 to goal. Team get two points when they score a goal from the flank. All other goals are worth 1 point. No defending on the flanks.
No Restriction Game. Remove cones and paly half field to goals.

Warm-up:
Passing and moving in groups of two using different surface to pass the ball. Instep, outside of the foot, inside of the foot. Stop to stretch every few minutes. Coaching point: Using different part of the foot to strike ball, increase the movement as the warm-up progressive.
