Session to help players control the ball at a young age

This part of the session is to work on players controling the ball on the move.
Split the group into 2 teams one team out side the circle (red) the other inside the circle (blue) after 90 seconds both groups change role.
1) Ball on the floor - Control the ball from the outside and dribble around the cirlce until a open player is free on the outside
2) Ball in the air - Again control ball and get it to a different player on the outside.
Make sure all players get the chance to use all the parts of the body that they used in the first drill.
Once this is done look to make the drill harder.
1) add defenders who are looking to steel that ball on a bad touch
2) play with one ball between all the players with defenders. One players has to control a ball into the circle and as a team they look to make a set amount of passes as a team before they can play out.

Finish the Session with a SSG based around the topic which is control
2 team playing in side a space that is correct for the age group. With a 5x5 box in the middle.
The player that is in the box is a floater and plays for both teams. They cant leave the box. Thier job is to control a pass into them and once they have controlled the ball they have to move the ball onto a teammate (this can be done using hands or feet) once the player in the box has touched the ball that team can score.

Split team into small groups 4 players max to allow lots of reps. 2 cones need to be 10 yards away from each other in a stight line. One player at one end with a ball and all the others in the group at the other end without a ball.
First team to get to 10 Wins or the most in a set time limit.
