Warm up game

1. Oranges remain in respective halves, but blues can go anywhere.

2. Oranges score by completing a pass across the half way line through one of the gates - red 1 pt and yellow 2 pts

3. Blues score by stopping ball on either base line.

4. Continuous play and blues can turn and burn.

ASK: am I defending / attacking and with / without ball?

ALSO: Look at ball carrier and have a plan!

Transition and score

1. Orange defender passes into team mate and then 2 v 3 (or 3 v 4) to score by getting ball (under control) across line A.

2. If orange score then can attack the goal

3. If blues force turnover then attack the goal and orange defend

4. Once goal scored by either team at B then reset with new players

5. Keep score as between oranges and blues

6. Can take quick sidelines, but max play without changeover of 1-2 mins.

Endzone transition

5 v 5 or 6 v 6 Two teams play to one goal.

To gain the right to attack the have to complete one pass INSIDE either of the two endzones making that team ON. Then they can counter to goal, if defence regain they have to do the same - get to a box complete a pass to be ON and have the right to attack.

6 Minutes shifts

Start to work on: (1) Shifting ball to find space; (2) counter-pressing
