Warm up

10/7/2012 – training ground

*Rehab - Chadwick – different training routine to everyone else – running in a straight line

1105 – DD Warm up

Lower leg stretches – hamstrings, quadriceps, gleuteals, gastro, torso rotation (lunges)

Player dribbles with the ball into the middle, turn and pass the ball back to a player waiting on the outside

1125 – 1130 break

Endurance

1130 – pushing/ dribbling the ball ahead in and out the cones around the whole pitch (jogging pace) repeated x4 with 1 minute recovery

(has been lapped on first beat each individual drill)

1156 – jogging around without ball

Finish 1210

1220 – 3 stations

1)DD – 10 yard sprint, agility through the poles & ladders

2)MH – ball work – emphasis on control, touch & turning and then manikins introduced for progression 2 groups of 3

3)KR/ IW/ AR – football tennis

1302 – DD - Cool down

1310 - finish

Training minutes = 120 minutes
