Play 1v1 to endlines. Switch rolls after each play. Focus on defender only. After a few rounds change the angle of the defensive approach. 1) From the side 2) Attackers back to defender

Play 4v3 (5v3) to goals. Once team in posession scores or loses posession of the ball they must drop 1-2 players from the field. The defending team then adds 1-2 players. Defending team is always #'s down. Players must think and react quickly to the change. After a goal or ball goes out of play Coach restarts play with a pass to attacking team.
Progress to 4v4 or 5v5.
Coaching Points:
1) Immediate Pressure - make the play predictable
2) First defender - Who pressure's first?
3) Immediate chase upon losing the ball.

Pick 2-3 of the 4 warm-ups. Always include A or C, 1 ball per player for maximum touches.
A - Coerver ball mastery - pendulums, Step-ups, outside/inside, rollovers, squeeze, V, Pull-pop, etc. plus combinations of different ball mastery skills
B - Speed and agility - with and withough ball
C - Coerver 1v1 and Turns - step-over, scissors, rollover, cruyff, outside cut, inside cut, etc. plus combinations of different moves and turns
D - 3v1 - Offensive players must work as hard as the defender. keep feet moving, open hips when receiving, 1st line and 2nd line passes, weight of the pass
