Method: 4v1 playing out from the back. Keeper starts by playing ball to player 1, who can either play the ball to player 2/3 or back to the keeper. Depending on the press put on by opposing player. Getting the ball to player 3 being main objective.
Coaching Points: A good session for teaching players the basics of playing out from the back, working on 1st touch, body shape, communication, weight of pass. As the players progress we can add in more players to 4v2,5v4 for example.

Method: A 5v5 game at the end of the session to help improve players build up play in a match situation. Teams in a 1-2-1-1 formation with a retreat line.
Coaching Points: Players working on angle and distance of pass and an awareness for the space created. This will help decision making and execution of pass and also communication skills.

Method: Area 20x20m with small square in centre. Reds outside grid acting as servers while the blues start in centre grid coming to receive ball from reds, return pass and return to centre and go to another red player.
Coaching Points: Players are working on passing, receiving and dribbling. The focus being on the weight of pass and receiving the ball on the backfoot and good body shape and good communication between players.
This is a good warmup drill as you can increase tempo and intensity as the drill progresses.
