Organization:
Center backs: Heels on Midline.
Full backs: Near side - play the short. Far side - be prepared to recover on defense or to play the ball back into the box.
Defensive Mid (6): Play the rebound.
Corner Striker: Aim for 6 yard line. Raise hand, then lower as you make your run.
Everyone else: Get in goal. Near post (A) - Step out 2 yards, stay in frame. B - Mark up on GK, block her vision as long as possible. Step out farther than A. C: Step out farther than B. D: Play back post in case ball makes it through. Step out farther than C.
Coaching Points: Make contact with ball. Use any means necessary to get ball in frame. Keep striking on goal until a goal is scored or it is out of bounds. If the far side full back gets it, the reset to the CBs and

Setup: Create a narrow channel with a goal facing side at far end.
Play: Player B starts with ball, attempts to sprint and score in mini goal. Player A (CB) attempts to work B out touchline or dispossess and pass to Player C (FB). Player C flares out to receive a pass from B (support only, this is a 1v1). Player B scores 1 point on goal OR if they can win a corner. Player A scores 2 points by playing ball back to C or 1 point to endline / goal kick. Play facing both directions to work on left / right side of field.
Teaching Points: Do NOT pass the play the ball out the endline unless there is NO other option. Use plant foot to make a cutback pass (i.e. Plant your foot at 8 o'clock, not 12 o'clock). If Attacker plays ball out endline do NOT try to save it, let it go. If you get trapped against the endline, try to kick the ball off the attacker.

Setup: Create a narrow channel as shown.
Game 1: 1v1. Player A starts with the ball. Player A scores point by completing pass to mini-goal. Player B scores point if they can dispossess and pass to mini goal (High and wide) or bounce ball off of Attacker and out endline.
Game 2: 1v1. Player A starts with the ball. Either player can score a point by bouncing ball off the other and out endline.
Teaching Points: The endline is a special place - it is NOT your friend like the touchline is, it is the attackers friend - if they play it well. If Attackerplays ball out endline do NOT try to save it, let it go. If you get trappedagainst the endline, try to kick the ball off the attacker. Angle your body so that any bounce will deflect high and wide - not towards endline.

Organization:
A: 2 shortest players in goal, hands on post. Stay put in goal until cleared by GK or Coach.
B: 2 zonal defenders, just inside the 6; frame the GK. Put best ball winner in nearest-to-ball zonal position.
C: 4 man marking. Try to mark up based on size. Stay close - arms length.
D: Put 10th player on 18 to block ball and short.
E: Forward should be near midline to keep CBs honest
Coaching Points: No Bounce - clear it! Then go and expand. CBs & GKs: quickly organize team.
Assign organization to CBs & GKs. Position body between attacker and goal; still see ball.
