Organization and Instructions:
Area as shown. All players with a ball.
Team 1 - are trying to ronaldo chop as many times as they can, but can only try 1 ronaldo chop while in the box. Have to be on the dribble. (can also use scissor chop)
Team 2 - Trying to use a pass and run around any other player
Team 3 - Taking big touches between two players.
Play 1 min, rotate roles
Coaching Points:
- Correct execution of chop/Scissor chop

- Eyes up to avoid a crash
- Entrance, Execution, Exit touch
- Attack with speed
Progressions/Regressions:
P) One team defends, one team scores with a pass and run, the other scores with a chop/change of direction (semi opposed)

Organization:
As above. Two grids to keep numbers low. Gates as shown, same area as tag game. Pugg goals turned around as shown for progression.
Instructions:
Attacker (A) makes a pass to attacker (C). Defender (B) is live when the pass leaves attacker's foot. Attacker (C) then tries to dribble through either gate at the far end of the grid for the number shown on the figure. Defender tries to win back the ball and dribble through gates near the starting lines for points shown. Rotate A to B to C. Player with the most points wins.
Coaching Points:
- Key words: Bait and Switch
- Attack with speed to build momentum in defender
- When defender is about to cut you off, cue for chop/change of direction
- First option is beat defender with speed, 2nd change of direction
- Eyes up to know where defender is
Progressions/Regressions:
P) Lines opposite side to get reps with other foot
P) Attacker who passed can join to attack 2v1
