Set Up: 25L x 30W 3v3 transition
Description: 3v3 game, when a goal is scored the player that scored must run around goal before they can get back and defend. The 3 players that got scored on go off the field the next 3 players come on with a new ball and attack opposite side. This creates a 3v2 situation until the 3rd defender recovers. If the ball leaves the field without a goal being scored then all 3 players from both teams go off and new players come on.

Progression: When shot on goal happens any attacker can go around any goal

5v5 Middle to Attacking third counter
-Blue to Goal and Red to two small counter attack goals (7 cones, 2 agility poles)
- plays to the big goal, blue plays to small goals
-Red plays the ball into the attacking team-blue (Red must then sprint around agility poles/cones before recovering to play defense)
-Rotate waiting players position specific..
Progression:
-Blue score within 5 passes= 3goals

4v4+2
Description: 4v4+2/2+ GK's, 2 target players on each endline by either side of the goal. Players can use the target players and once in possession they can participate in the attack. If the opposing team recovers the ball they have to go back outside on goaline either side of goal.
Coaching Points:
1. Dribble with speed and change of direction
2. Ball Striking
3. Recognizes when to shoot
4. Recognizes when to dribble or pass
5. Passing with instep
6. Recognize numbers up situation
7. Change in direction (switching play)
8. Communication
Progression: Ball must hit a target player before you can score (combination with #9 player), or add time limit to the attacking team for them to score, 6-8secs.
