Description

Working on strong closed receptions with a curl out. 

Body position:

Left foot forward, right foot back. 

Stick to the right, receiving the ball in front of right foot. Creating a triangle between left foot, right foot and the ball.

Left arm move over the ball and going forward. Slight bend in the elbow.

Right arm strong and straight.

Don't over commit, ball and stick should be in front of you to the right. Don't turn your body side ways. 

When receiving, first touch should push the ball forward a little bit. 

Change grip to carry and curl the ball to the felt.

Work on it for 1 min, 30 sec break. 2 -5 rounds.

Player 1 passes the ball to player 2 who is leading towards the gate. 

Player 2 is receiving closed, curling out to the left. Bringing the ball back to the cone. Player 1 then runs to the gate and does the same. 

You can curl out left and right.

Same idea, now you pass the ball towards the wall. When it bounces back you receiving closed and curling out left.  

Left and right side

Right side, receiving strong and closed. First touch should push ball forward a little bit, curling out on the back hand. Feet around and back to the forhand side to carry ball back to the start.
