THE SESSION:
Players dribble through the corridor (marked by yellow cones on each side). They have to touch each side of the corridor three times. When the players reach the end of the corridor they dribble around the outside of the corridor to return to the start. Give players different skill move to perform on way back down corridor.
PROGRESSIONS:
- Have both teams dribbling alternate ways to more traffic in middle
- Add a pair of players to pass the ball across corridor to each other
KEY MESSAGES/POINTS:
-Awareness of ball, space and team mates
Dribble with head up and checking the space around you.
-Lots of touches on the ball
Make sure that your players get lots of touches of the ball.
-Play with head up to scan

THE SESSION:
• Area 30x18yds area with 5yd channels at each end
of practice area, as illustrated.
• players organised in 3’s as shown.
• Supply of balls, with coach.
• Groups of 3 are 5yds apart, facing opposition
on either end of area.
• Practice starts with: ball fed-in by coach (or defenders to attackers) to one
team who proceed to attack opponents 3v3 and aim to move the ball
(under control) into opponents’ end zone to score.
KEY POINTS:
- Use prominent LFC role models (VVD)
-Nearest Player press the ball (Jump to Press)
- Assess pressing distance, (Deny Space and Delay attack) body shape and balance.
-Can you make play predicatable (body shape, Deflect)
-Support distance, depth, angle and team balance. (Ready to Jump)
-Tracking runners whilst maintaining eye-contact
with ball and developing play. Don't get outplayed.
-Destroy (Can we Pinch the ball)
PROGRESSIONS:
1.- Add 1 player on each side line to assist team in possession and
increase potential to make wall-passes.
2.- Add Target player in opponent’s end zone to play into and receive a return pass before entering end zone: this increases need for Defenders to consider
screening passes to Target player.
- Service from the coach is varied:
a) Throw the ball in the air
b) Roll the ball in slowly
c) Roll the ball to slightly favour one team

THE SESSION:
- Area: 40m x 50m - field split into 2 half's - goals 1 centrally with GK, one wide Players: 2 targets, 4v2 in each area, GK in large goal
- Attackers (Blue) play 4+2v2 in one area, attackers must get 3 passes before they can play into other half.
- Attackers can shoot at anytime into 3 goals. Defenders (Red) must look to keep shape and look for right shape for when to step up (press) when to drop.
- If defenders drop to defend goals then allows space for attackers but if they step up and no pressure on ball then attackers can pop ball over top into space. If defenders win ball can they look to hit targets (yellow)
PROGRESSIONS:
- Change Overloads
KEY MESSAGES/POINTS:
- Focus on pressing as a unit: cue and triggers: bad pass, pressure on ball, backwards pass then look to step up and condense. No pressure on ball look to drop/ deny ball forward.
- Defenders always playing on half turn – ready to drop off
- Use LFC role models
- Use LFC values
